PM Machine are mostly more compact in size which helped during the dismantle of the Old Geared Machine and installation of the New PM Machine. As the Traction Machine are recommended to be modernize due to the new safety requirements are set to be comply. Breakdowns such as brake malfunction are due to the old age of the traction machine and no preventive maintenance being conducted properly.
